Melissa Pero holds a BA in Liberal Studies from CSUN with a concentration in Earth Science & Astronomy. She has been an elementary educator since 2006 and joined WHPS in 2015. Mrs. Pero serves as a resource specialist for Lower Elementary with a special emphasis on early literacy development and leveraging the science of reading (SOR) research to individualize and elevate student learning. She is also a proud WHPS parent.
